It’s Time To Take Action

Total Freedom is for anyone to interpret Scientology anyway they want to. Of course, just like freedom of speech, it does not mean freedom to hurt — one must prevent scientology from being used to hurt, which is what Mr. Miscavige is doing based on my observations.

LRH has a great tape, which I think is called “Deterioration Of Freedom.” Mr. Miscavige is using it well, meaning he is using it to destroy what Ron has built and what scientologists want to have.

Back to your plan Marty:

Here is a response to an posting on Marty’s blog “Stepping Out Of Line” on Feb/21/10

“Stepping Out of Line” is totally right-we must get out of the shadow and we must put our intentions on what we want.

Yes, we want Miscavige gone, for sure, but there is something else we want even more.

And that is to move up to greater abilities ourselves.

Greater abilities in whatever we want. No more, no less.

Sure, we want to make those tools from scientology available to as many people as possible-this is part of what we want-but we also want to achieve greater abilities within ourselves.

Competence is senior to case gain. (LRH)

I think case gain comes with competence. After all, why does one feel so good after having achieved something one finds worthwhile?

And let me ask you-does this achievement have to be earth rocking, or could it just be that we stole a smile from someone? For me, it’s sometimes as simple as not to get my lights bunched, to make it through the next day, or to make payroll.

Here is my plan:

If you like it, only if you like it, and if it holds some truth for you, then I would love for you to implement a similar plan. I said similar, not identical. I say this NOT because of “DO NOT COPY MY STUFF” – no, I say it because WE ARE NOT IN THE CHURCH ANYMORE AND CAN DO WHAT WE LIKE.

Ron never wanted it any other way. He said, “I am source – you are cause of the data.”

And the ONLY thing you need to do, to make an impact, is realize that your opinion is needed and wanted, and have the confidence that no matter what you do, a lot more good than bad will happen from it!

Realize that it was DM who wanted us to believe that WE THE PUPLIC cannot be trusted, even cant give a seminar, never mind auditing anyone.  He does not apply the LRH of, “Just let them work and operate to the degree that they are ‘on tech’ – to this degree they will be successful.”

There is more to that in many PL’s. One of them is Mission and Ethics (a real short but powerful one)

Let’s talk some action steps:

  1. Penetrate-don’t preach (LRH )To go in that direction, I will continue what I have done for over a decade now, – which is give data. Not sales pitches, but data about life, business, marketing etc.The only difference will be that I will be heavy-heavy including LRH quotes (as well as other authors and captains of industries), showing many analogies, and situations form current and past scenes, in and outside the church. The aim is to come up with ways that can be used immediately by many to improve their lives. Be it having more money, better relationships, or bringing down DM, amongst other things.
  2. If you want to get a point across, then you must communicate (says LRH). Of course there is also “outflow equals inflow,” and form the PDC, “attract positive attention” and you will swim in money (DM does attract attention, just not positive).I will use this datum by producing high quantity (hopefully quality as well, but definitely high quantity) data, which I think will penetrate and help in life, if used by the reader or listeners. Kep in mind that I believe the way to bring him down is by improving our and others life, not by ONLY telling how bad he is, -which he is of course.
  3. In “The Perfect Dissemination Program” (PL and HCOB), Ron talks about how we must find terminals who will be pushing (marketing & selling)our products and services, or messages, so that there is only an initial push needed from us, requiring very little further bush from us, as it is others who do the pushing. He mainly refers to sale people, but isn’t everyone a sales person of some sort? Wouldn’t any company or the media be perfect to push your product, service or message? Not a new concept-and you can see many ramifications of this in MLM, franchises, and the apostles of Jesus Christ. Haven’t they been a great sales team or franchising or MLM team? There are also the modern examples of working with nonprofit organizations, sponsorships, and let’s not forget YouTube and Google.I will give real present time examples how anyone can build a marketing team while using very little of his own money to get any desired message across. I actually have a name for this, called “Un-advertising.”It is very ineffective to try to build your own marketing strategy using your own efforts, in terms of money and time.

It does not mean no money is needed-I am only saying a lot less, and mainly only at the beginning, as from there on, others will do all the promoting for you.

And let me ask you one more question.

If others promote you with their money, will this advertising then not turn automatically into endorsements? Of course it will-thus the name Un-advertising.

  4. It is difficult, if not downright impossible, to bring down a large person or organization by protesting alone. Read the book “The Next Trillion Dollar Industry” by PAUL ZANE PILZER. Mr. Pilzer is an author of 6 or 7 bestselling books, and he perfectly describes why one must turn the whole thing (the protest, desire, and diminishment of any entity which might be harmful) into a way to make money for people. Protesting and suing them out of existence is a poor and in-effective way. After all protesting and being victim costs money and usually the “others” have more of it. Thus this tactic cannot sustain itself.Pilzer explains how the pharmaceutical industry is keeping people sick, and that protests aren’t working. In an example he says to turn the vitamin business into an industry. Make sure people make money and have fun, and you will have it made.Sounds like a familiar principle? Ron never wanted a centralized system with no fun. He never wanted “INT” to take care of all our dissemination.

And perhaps most importantly, he knew that we would get what we put our attention on. All the attention on crime and abuse of drugs-what will that get you? More of it!! Put attention on what you really want-and what you really want is having happy and upbeat people around you.

How do you get that?

Help a person produce something he wants to produce and he will never be depressed (this is the method I used to give anti-drug seminars without ever using the word drug or “drugs are bad,” and the result was that I was promoted by some of the most influential people in Bombay and was hired to spread the message about how bad drugs are without coming even close to the subject).

I will in future issues, with points 1-3, show anyone how to promote whatever service/product he wants to get out. Frankly it does NOT matter whether those products or services have anything to do with scientology, as LRH clearly states-he wants us to do well in live.

Why?  It’s simple.

Do well and people will start asking for your advice. Give it. Never force it-never make it holy- never think they must use our tech to improve their life. They don’t. After all, if auditing has a goal to bring people up the tone scale (make them happier in some shape and form), and if even a movie can do that temporarily, then why wouldn’t any of your products or services do that? Why wouldn’t the people who hang out with you, because they are your client’s friend’s etc., start feeling better by hanging out with you?

So, looking at it this way-is selling cars, vitamins, or food in a restaurant a sin?

Please do not say yes, as I have been working in the Hotel business for about 15 years (loved every minute), and have seen people and large groups become happy while eating and or celebrating, such as a wedding. (I by the way found scientology by having solisitated, sold, and arranged the Sea Org Day Celebration in the LA Airport Hilton, circa 1986)

OK, enough for today. Thanks Marty for giving me the impulse to write this!

I do hope this was useful, and I would appreciate comments and questions. I will get in the grove of starting to answer-some public, some private. Just have some patience with me to get my act together. Please.

And – YES – I will be elaborating on the above. I will provide a “do it yourself marketing plan” which can be used for anything, anywhere, by anyone. Remember-I promised to use what knowledge I have to get 40 000 people on a first basic service in scientology, to bring down Miscavige. or should I say to make scientology available the way I tough it was when I brought this people in.

Love

Helmut Flasch

PS:

Please forgive for NOT providing exact LRH references. I probably never will. If what I write makes sense, then use it. If it does not, then you should not use it-whether it is LRH or not. You can also go and look up these references if you choose. You will love the participation part of it and learn a lot. In any case, we are NOT in the classroom and this “don’t give verbal tech” is just one of those things which is been supper exaggerated in order to keep the tech away from people. After all, what would happen if we would just use the LRH writing and let it spread ??

It really must be scaring the lights out of INT (DM).

I even had “don’t use verbal tech stuff” used on me, so that everything I said in my defense face to face to staff of WISE INT, OSA INT etc. When I said “Ok let’s look for it – I don’t exactly know where it is, but I am sure he said it, “was met with  - “we don’t have time –it is not our job to verify for you what LRH said or not.” Apply Pl and show it, or don’t say it.

In any case I am usually way too lazy to look things up and usually don’t even remember the title of what I just read or listened to. I only remember the concept.  And that is good enough for me.

In the end, what is true for me is true for me. And that is about as far as it goes.

  1. Helmut,

I admire your winning attitude and your four action steps make a great deal of sense.

They certainly align with what I have found to be successful.

One of the earliest indicators for me that something was wrong with the Church, not the technology, was that almost everyone involved allowed themselves to live in a physically degraded environment. All attention was on creating stats and personal and family needs were ignored.

Most new public I knew were more upstat looking than most staff members, but as time went on their standards of living changed for the worse as they adopted the church mindset and neglected the rest of the dynamics..

It was our early successes with Scientology that hooked us and kept us involved long after we should have woken up and left.

Those successes are still to be found, but they will be found outside the church.

I feel that programs like yours are the key to a growing independent field. They must be tailored to the skills of those running the programs and to the needs of the public who are interested in personal betterment.

I have put a link to your site on my site and will be following your future posts with great interest.

    Dear Helmuth

Thank you so much for your videos, they give hope and new energy to the freezone. We have been missing people that are orientated towards dissiminating the wonderfull basic tech that are around – protesting and nattering is waste of time. We where 15 persons that left in 2003 – and I am sure that more will wake up here in DK, once they hear you clear and great speach.

I have for my part only gotten a better life, a greater understanding of the tech – and a much higher affinity for my fellow men – I do not regret a second.

Looking forward to get the data on the marketing pgm.

    Kind regards Henrik Jensen

Thank you Helmut! I completely duplicate you and understand where you are coming from. I love your writing and love to learn more on marketing from you.

Looking forward to your next post.

We have to be surrounded with happy and upstat people in order to help ourselves as well as others around us. That is definitely the way to go.

Thank you for all you are doing to help good people and mankind!

    Hello Helmut,
I am not a Scientologist and only became aware of it since they hit the news in recent years. I was appalled by member’s accounts of human rights abuse, and speak out on various forums against it. I wanted you to know how much I enjoy your videos and writing. You have a fantastic communication style and seem like a very open minded, honest person. Sometimes I have trouble understanding former org members because of all the acronyms and Scientology-specific argot, but you speak so us regular folk (I guess ex-wog to you — inserted smile) can understand. I don’t really care how you got to be the way you are, I’m just glad you are.

Keep posting and I’ll keep reading/watching.

  8. Helmut,
Thanks for this. I am elated to see you running with the ball with a great deal of energy and insouciance. I highly suggest you get in comm with a very successful former WISE consultant Paolo Ruggieri in Italy. He thinks much like you; and like you has many products to back up his ideas.

What Puck said. Also, the incredible writing from folks like yourself, Marty, Geir and so many others shows me that the Independent route is the way to go when I do expand my knowledge of the tech. There’s no way I would join a group that abuses its members, but I can just see the gains made through all of you who have continued using the tech outside of the orgs.

with all due respect, and having to stay anonymous because i can no longer trust a scientologist: what do you think should happen with all the OSA/GO policies which have hurt so many people? i think of those things written by hubbard himself (“ruin utterly”, “dispose of people below 2.0 quietly”, infiltrate government, etc.)? shouldn’t all of this come out into the open?

and what about marty rathbun who in his past OSA capacity has hurt so many people and still does not face it, and who should report himself to the authorities to finally come clean?

or are you all just in for another power game?
